Home » Mt. Kirō Observation Platform
Mt. Kirō is located in the southern part of Ōshima Island. At the summit is an observation deck designed to be invisible from below to preserve the original profile of the mountain. At 301 m, it affords stunning views of the Seto Inland Sea, especially the view south over the Kurushima Strait Bridge. Sundown is a popular time to visit, when the roiled surface of the Inland Sea is particularly striking.
